Central Park in Summer

August 06, 2018

Don’t waste another minute without heading to Central Park for fun summertime activities. From outdoor concerts to picnics on the lawn, the last days of summer should be enjoyed under the lush canopies of blooming trees with the vibrant symphony of summer birds chirping overhead. Find your shaded spot in NYC’s famous paradise nestled in the middle of the concrete jungle. Catch the last performances of Shakespeare in the Park or surprise your beloved with a picture-perfect paddle boat ride followed by drinks at the famed Boat House. Arrive early in the morning to catch free outdoor concerts at Rumsey Playfield aired live on Good Morning America. There are only four left this summer. The Chainsmokers take the stage on August 10th, Leon Bridges August 17th, Luis Fonsi on August 24th, and Alesso on August 31st. Arrive around 6 am to secure your spot, the concerts air live from 7:00 to 9:00 am. The sky is the limit when it comes to exciting adventures in Central Park. Some may even say, it’s a city within a city.
